Show Overview:  The Dallas International Lighting Market is the only permanent concentration of lighting fixture companies in North America. As the only recognized national market in the U.S., more than 13,000 lighting buyers from around the world attend the Dallas International Lighting Market. In January 1999, DMC opened the 4th floor of the Trade Mart to expand the number of portable lighting and decorative accessory lines, further establishing Dallas the "total" lighting market. Dallas Market Center is also the headquarter of American Lighting Association (ALA), which owns more than 1,000 members, mostly lighting manufacturers, traders, distributors and associated organizations in US and Canada. Market hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Friday (8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and Monday (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
